Inspired by the possibility of turning the facade of any tall building into a glowing sign, as in the film "Sleepless in Seattle", the project uses light to map the visual districts of various building facades in the city. As a glowing sign, a source of light, each facade is a resource whose potential audience can be identified by the facade's visual district. Each point within the district is a site for experiencing the Logo Light, a possibility of temporarily reprogramming locations in the city, where the private and intimate intersect with the public and monumental. Logo Lights would create constantly changing and competing visual districts that expose the hidden night life and economic dynamics of cities, if only for these short and sweet moments.
